Robe’s ‘The Future is Digital’ Road Show hit Moscow in Russia in parallel with the Music Moscow 2008 exhibition.

Three daily hands-on product demo and Q&A sessions were conducted by Gerald Heise, Robe’s Sales Support Manager, illustrating a full range of the dynamic options made possible by Robe’s new Digital Moving Light Range.

"We expected an average interest in these seminars, but the results have been overwhelming", comments Boris Krylov, Robe’s Regional Sales Manager for Russia and the CIS. "There was a great cross section of visitors including Robe’s distributors and LDs as well as dealers and customers from the Ukraine and Belarus". This made it a truly international event for CIS countries, not just for Russia. "We look forward to doing something similar next year," concludes Krylov.

Guests had the unique opportunity of joining a live demo of DigitalSpot 3000 and 7000 DTs, in combination with Robe’s new LED based luminaries, the REDWash 3•192 and REDMix 3•192.

Robe’s International Sales Manager, Harry von den Stemmen has also received a myriad of positive comments and feedback about the relaxing, informative and professional format of the seminars.

"Everyone arrived with loads of questions about the new ranges, and left the seminar with detailed answers plus the desire to use this technology rather sooner than later," he says, adding that the level of technical knowledge in Russia has always been high and that there is a massive interest in the new products.

"Robe’s profile and presence in Russia is excellent" continues von den Stemmen, and the various distributors made huge efforts to generate interest and bring people to the Roadshow. We would like to thank our distributors for the great support in this event".

Over 15 DigitalSpot 5000 and 7000 DT’s have already been sold in Russia, and all indications point to sales of the other digital products following this pattern in the immediate future.
