Robe Road Show Copenhagen
Nordisk Film Studios in Copenhagen – famous for producing the cult Olsen Gang movies - welcomed Robe’s first Scandinavian “The Future is Digital” Roadshow into their Studio 4 - for three extremely busy days attended by customers from Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
The Olsen Gang was replaced by the Robe Gang of Stig Meyer Jensen, Jeppe Nygaard from Robe’s Danish distributor, LightPartner joined by Robe’s Ingo Dombrowski and Gerald Heise.

LightPartner staged an exceptionally well organized event that saw all three days resembling an industry Who’s Who – packed with people from a heterogeneity of sectors – from theatres and rental companies to museums, visitor attractions and arts centres.
Studio 4 was equipped with Robe’s workhorse AT moving light range including the ColorWash and ColorSpot 575, 700 and 2500 series, with the ColorWash 750 AT Tungsten in particular attracting much interest.
Robe’s DigitalSpot 3000 and DigitalSpot 7000 DT digital moving heads were subjected to extensive demonstrations, and received a myriad of positive comments relating to their flexibility in uses like aerial effects and different image projection combinations.
Robe’s DS 3000 and 7000s are 2-in-1 fixtures amalgamating all the advantages of a profile spot and a wash light in one unique unit. Robe’s RED LED-based lighting fixtures also showed their versatility, and impressed people with their brightness, colour mixing and flexible ‘egg-crate’ modules.
LightPartner commented post show that even they were surprised so many people made such a big effort to attend the Roadshow at a very busy time of year. Several have also requested personal demos in the coming weeks. “It’s been a brilliant event for us,” said Stig Meyer Jensen after the show, with a big smile on his face!
